A small layer can change an entire outfit, and the new Zina vest from UK designer Apolina is made to do just that, shaped from a structured cotton organdie in a soft violet crème and embroidered with a cross-stitch floral design in tonal blues framed by fine vertical pleats. A delicate lace handwork trim edges the neck and armholes, ties knot softly at each side, and two buttons fasten it along one side. It looks especially lovely over a jersey peplum top or a simple party dress.
