Washable paper sounds unlikely for a tote until you pick this one up. It feels closer to very light leather: water-resistant, sturdy enough for a full load, and just four ounces when empty. On the front, Chirri and Chirra peer out from a framed scene of birds, bellflowers, and butterflies, with their names lettered above. A six-inch gusset gives it more room than its slim shape suggests. With use, the paper softens and creases, looking comfortably worn in rather than worn out.
