A comet is heading toward Earth, and Moomintroll would rather find out more than sit at home and worry. With Sniff beside him, he sets off on a journey that brings strange weather, unfamiliar creatures, and new friends, including Snufkin and the Hemulen. First published in 1946, Tove Jansson’s adventure makes room for both the fear of what might happen and the comfort of having someone along for the trip. This Drawn & Quarterly edition includes painted covers, a fold-out map of Moominvalley, and a ribbon to mark the place until tomorrow.
