The set covers a wren, hummingbird, robin, quail, tufted titmouse, blue jay, bluebird, wood thrush, goldfinch, chickadee, cardinal, and mourning dove, and most paintings take about thirty minutes from start to finish. The spiral binding lays flat while you work, and the paper is a custom cold press stock heavy enough to hold water without buckling. No painting experience is needed. Paint and brushes are sold separately.
