A first bear does not need to be big, it needs to be the right size for the person doing the carrying, and this one stands under five inches. Maileg made him in a soft plush the warm brown of a toasted mushroom cap, stuffed so he holds a squeeze and comes back, with enough weight low down that he sits up by himself instead of folding over. There is a small brown and black checked bow tied at his neck and the Maileg tag stitched into his side. He fits in a coat pocket or a closed hand, which is rather the point of a mini. He comes along.
