Most cards get read once and put in a drawer. This one folds into three panels and stands up, die cut so the edge follows the toys rather than boxing them in. Nathalie Lété paints a pink teddy with butterflies at his shoulder, a skunk, two ducklings in bonnets, a grey cat in a red neckerchief, and an elephant with his trunk raised toward a rainbow, all in the loose brushwork and slightly worn palette of a mid-century toy catalogue. The reverse is red polka dot with a message oval, and the card comes blank inside with an envelope in a biodegradable cello sleeve.
