A replica of a 1950s collectible, this lithographed tin spinner from die Blechfabrik has been reproduced using the same manufacturing techniques employed in its original creation, so it keeps the slightly rough, slightly wonky charm that modern manufacturing tends to polish out. Press the spring-loaded plunger and the wheel turns, creating a dreamy little light show as a flying saucer hovers over the Earth and beams up a tiny running figure while sparks fly, a small bit of nostalgia that is lovely to keep on a desk or shelf. It is sold as a collector's and nostalgia item and is not intended as a children's toy.
